Skills
- Card access
- Wizard, Warlock, Library, Static, Combustion and Spire are Spells cards. Off-faction defensive effects depend on rewards or shops.
- Effect condition
- B1 Library has B2 Wizard as the illustrated troop neighbor. Keep other Library neighbors empty or non-troop when you want its troop-selection opportunities concentrated on Wizard.
Best for
One protected ranged recipient develops meaningful offensive enchantments through Library.
Avoid if
Wizard dies before attacking, or a kill-triggered effect never starts because it cannot secure the first kill.
How it works
Static contributes chained damage on attacks; Combustion needs kills for its area payoff. Library develops enchantments on adjacent troops. Keeping the chosen recipient useful matters more than adding arbitrary effects.
Equipment priority
| Priority | Equipment | Instruction |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Stabilize | Wizard | Establish Wizard and a usable screen before reserving several Library tiles. Warlock is the illustrated screen/area contributor. If the Wizard cannot stay active, take immediate strength or available protection before treating future enchantment growth as the answer. |
| 2 · Connect | Library, Warlock; conditional Spire | Place Library at B1 beside B2 Wizard. Keep the other adjacent positions empty or occupied by non-troops if the goal is to concentrate troop-selection opportunities on that Wizard. Warlock at A2 is diagonal to Library and therefore does not share this connection. |
| 3 · Develop | Static, Combustion; Steel Coat if available | Give the Wizard an effect that answers the battle. Static operates through attacks, while Combustion needs kills to supply its area payoff. Library then develops meaningful enchantments on the useful recipient. Arcane can reward Wizard enchantments under the current perk text, but it does not make every arbitrary stack equally valuable. |

How to play
Stop adding unrelated enchantments just to lengthen the list. When the screen fails, stabilize it; when Wizard cannot secure kills, improve useful damage. Spire healing can support units that survive long enough to recover, but it does not establish protection against an immediate removal.
What can break the build
Adding Combustion to a Wizard that never secures the first kill does not guarantee a board-clearing chain. Strengthen the initial attack or use an attack-triggered effect before investing every reward in the kill payoff. Likewise, another adjacent troop can divert Library opportunities from the intended recipient.
