More Perks (Discontinued) for 9 Kings

The value of this entry is identifying an obsolete package before it becomes part of your current setup. The author marks it discontinued and states that the game's perk update broke it. A file still being visible does not establish that the project was repaired.

Read the two dates correctly

The listed file date is 5 June 2025. The description also contains a 1 July 2025 notice that it no longer works. These refer to different things: file metadata and a later compatibility warning. Do not use the old file date to overrule the author's warning.

Recover an old installation

The historical instruction places MorePerks.dll under the game's Mods directory using MelonLoader. That is not the BepInEx plugin location. If you installed it before, close the game and move that one DLL out of the active Mods folder, then test an ordinary fresh run. Preserve a backup instead of deleting unrelated packages.

If you also installed a loader, identify its own files from the loader's instructions before removing it. Several unrelated uninstall recipes can remove shared files and create a second problem. Steam file verification is a useful subsequent check of original files, but it does not tell you which third-party files you added.
