Choose the right change
Read the package role and the test that distinguishes it from a normal launch.
Use this when the wait between decisions is your main problem. It is a speed-control package, so it should not be chosen as a fix for a weak build. A faster defeat still requires the same build decisions.
Compare speed packages before installing
This package supplies separate faster buttons. 9 Qualities of Life also changes speed controls. Start with one of them, inspect the interaction you want, and keep that setup as your baseline. There is no verified combined behavior documented here.
Verify control and recovery together
Test a short battle at ordinary speed, select a faster control, then return to ordinary speed. Check that the next placement phase remains usable. This tests the complete task you care about: speeding up a battle while retaining control afterward.
If a large battle becomes difficult to inspect, return to a lower speed before changing any other options. A faster button is not a promise of higher frame rate or a fixed reduction in real-world run time.
Remove the added controls
The author's uninstall instruction is to remove the NineKings.UltraSpeed plugin directory. Close the game first. Preserve your previous setup, remove that one directory, and verify the ordinary buttons on the next launch. Do not remove a shared loader while other plugins still depend on it.

Common questions
Use the stated evidence boundary when deciding whether to install.
Does 8x guarantee a faster computer?
No. A speed control changes the requested game speed; it does not establish frame rate or stability on your system.
